Hotel Information
The conference hotel is The Peabody Little Rock. Reservations may be made by phone (501) 906-4000 or toll-free (800) 732-2639.

For online reservations, go to https://register.peabodyhotels.com/listHotels. do?action=ShowList. Enter group number 879083 in the "Group Reservation" box and hit submit to enter Southern Growth's reserved block and rates. A special room rate of $134 for single or double occupancy is available for Southern Growth conference attendees. The deadline for making reservations has been extended to May 16, 2008. Please mention Southern Growth when making your reservation.

Hotel Parking
The Peabody LIttle Rock offers valet parking for guests, currently at $18 per day. Day uses of valet parking is currently $12 per day. Self-parking is available at a daily rate of $7.50 at the Second & Main Parking Garage, which is operated by the City of Little Rock and located two blocks from the hotel. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Airport Transportation
In an effort to keep registration costs down, Southern Growth will no longer provide complimentary airport transportation to and from the conference Hotel.  The Peabody Hotel does have its own complimentary airport shuttle service on a limited basis.  Reservations will be taken between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm every day.  Reservations can be made through the Guest Services Department by calling 501-906-4000. Please note that as long as there are reservations in place, the shuttle will depart the hotel on the hour and half hour, and will depart the airport every fifteen minutes before and after the hour.  If no reservations have been made, the shuttle will run on request only.  It is suggested that guests with reservations be ready ten minutes prior to reservation time.  Shuttle availability is limited, so reservations should be made as far in advance as possible.  Any unreserved seats will be available to those guests who did not make reservations.

Taxicabs are operating out of the Little Rock Airport at all times. Automobile rental companies operating out of the Little Rock Airport include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty.

Conference Attire
Business casual attire is recommended for all conference sessions.   Room temperature during the conference sessions varies, so we suggest bringing a sweater or jacket for your comfort. All conference General Sessions will be held on the Ballroom Level of the hotel (Salon AB). The Business Meeting is located on Level 3 (Arkansas Room).  The Keynote Lunch on June 2nd will be held in the Statehouse Convention Center.

The Innovators Reception will be held at the Clinton Presidential Center.  Tours of the Clinton Museum are included.  Business casual attire is appropriate.

The Governor’s Banquet will be held at The Peabody Hotel. Business casual attire is appropriate.

 

Cancellation Policy
Refunds may be requested in writing by May 12th, 2008, and are subject to a $75 cancellation fee. No cancellations will be honored after May 12th. Any registrant who does not submit cancellation correspondence by May 12th, and does not attend the conference is required to pay full registration. Refunds requested in writing within 72 hours of registration are entitled to a full refund. Substitutions may be made at any time without penalty. Authorized refunds are processed after the event. Southern Growth reserves the right to modify this policy.
