Program Description: The Center for Urban Affairs conducts a wide variety of basic and applied research for the federal, state and local governments, the private sector and foundations. It has studied topics ranging from urban crime to growth management to economic development. The Center’s areas of expertise include policy research and evaluation, questionnaire construction, data analysis and interpretation, and report preparation. The Center also has a full-scale Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing capabilities.
