Program Description: The Florida Institute of Government was established by the Florida Legislature in 1981 to increase the effectiveness and quality of government in Florida through research, training, and technical assistance services. Florida State University serves as the administrative host of the five member consortium of universities that comprise the Florida Institute of Government.
