Program Description: The John Glenn Institute merged with the School of Public Policy and Management in the summer of 2006 to create the John Glenn School of Public Affairs. The School offers two Master’s degree programs and a Doctoral program and a variety of dual and joint degree programs in collaboration with other Ohio State University colleges and departments. School faculty members and students conduct and disseminate research on policy relevant issues of immediate and long-term interest. The School’s continuing education programs offer management and leadership training for public sector employees. Internship programs and co-curricular activities provide opportunities for graduate, undergraduate, and high school students to experience the complex world of policy options and decisions. Through its outreach and civic engagement activities, the School engages the public in the exploration of citizenship and the role of the public sector in a civil society. The School, together with University Libraries, is home to the John Glenn Archives.
