Program Description: The Voinovich School conducts applied research, technical assistance and strategic development projects in three critical areas for the region and state: 1) Energy and the Environment; 2) Public Service and Leadership; and 3) Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness. The School has major academic partnerships with the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, and the Russ College of Engineering through the Consortium for Energy, Economics and the Environment, Environmental Studies Program (housed at the School), Integrated MBA Program and the MPA Program. School staff members provide ongoing strategic and business assistance to Game Research and Immersive Design (GRID) Lab in the Scripps College of Communication, and work with faculty in the College of Education on value-added achievement and performance research for K-12 education. The School has established numerous external strategic partnerships, including nationally recognized venture capital/operational assistance program with Adena Ventures, a watershed research program with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Agency, and an educational research partnership with Battelle for Kids.
